Amanda Smagley is an accomplished educator with over a decade of teaching experience. She has worked at the Urban Prairie Waldorf School, a specialized institution supporting youth facing personal hardships, and currently Arie Crown Hebrew Day School, bringing her passion for holistic education and student well-being to every classroom.

 

Amanda holds a bachelor’s degree from The Ohio State University, where she was a standout athlete, serving as coxswain for the national champion rowing team. She furthered her academic journey with a master’s degree in Child Development/Education from the University of Oxford in England and an additional graduate degree from Northwestern University.

 

Amanda and her husband, Jeff, who works for the National Association of Manufacturers, are proud parents of two children. They reside in the Chicagoland area, where Amanda continues to inspire and shape young minds with her dedication to education and personal growth. The family enjoys spending time outside, visiting botanical gardens, going on long hikes and walking through nature preserves.
